Ciolacu

[edit]

Hello. Please read the sources you're using. Ciolacu is saying half of the people surnamed Ciolacu at the telephone book for Constanța are Aromanians. He is not saying his surname is Aromanian. He immediately says otherwise right afterwards. Please do not add this claim again with this sourcing. Thanks, Super Ψ Dro 14:53, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited David Yudilovitz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jassy. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Boris Marian

[edit]

Hi. Would you be opposed to renaming Boris Marian? To distinguish him from the Jewish writer. I suggest Boris Marian (writer and dissident) as both were writers and it seems to be the main thing they're known for, so it preferrably would remain in both of their titles, but the Jewish writer was not a dissident. I strongly believe confusion among readers is possible when seeing the name, I myself got confused when adding links to the article you wrote and you contacted me over it if I remember correctly. Let me know what you think. Regards, Super Ψ Dro 16:08, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello !
The Jewish Romanian writer doesn't have an English-language Wikipedia page. But if it will be created, then sure, rename it.
I think it would be more easy to make Boris Marian (Moldovan writer) and Boris Marian (Romanian writer). Or name the Romanian Boris Marian-Mehr.
I see no use for that now, because the Romanian one doesn't have an English-page. Edward Mike005 (talk) 16:37, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mozes Kahana moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Mozes Kahana. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because It also needs more sourcing so as to satisfy WP:VERIFY. I could remove all the unsourced material, but that would really gut the article. I felt it better to move it to draft where you could work on providing sources. . I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Onel5969 TT me 15:54, 27 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

i added more sources. But the article is straight-ul translated from the Russian and Romanians ones, which are also full of sources. I mentioned that when I created the articles.
I also made links to Kahana from other pages (Romanian Communist Party, Hungarian Soviet Republic, Moldavian ASSR and so on). So I think that it should be reposted. Edward Mike005 (talk) 16:05, 27 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Moldovan Esperantists indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 20:08, 27 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Hello. I noticed you recently added a media file (such as an image, audio recording, or video) which was AI-generated or tampered with by AI ("upscaled"). Such media files may contain inaccuracies and should not be used on Wikipedia (or indeed anywhere). Thank-you.
