  • Researching historical women writers who used pseudonyms requires careful investigation across multiple sources, as many women adopted pen names to avoid gender bias and judgment (e.g., being labeled a bluestocking) and, ultimately, to get published.

Englishwoman's Year Book

[edit]

Hi, I have just found Margaret Hayes Robinson in User:Dsp13/Englishwoman's Year Book and added any missing information to the article. Would it be helpful to explain on the page that it is sourced to tweets from Amara Thornton? The Englishwoman's Yearbook & Directory, 1914 does not seem to be available online. Feel free to edit it as you like! Pleased if anything there was useful, and that there's now a Margaret Hayes Robinson page. It was a redlinks list, basically - and I remember being fascinated to hear of the Year Book - but I'm not concentrating on that part of the world right now.
