Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (April 7)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
This appears to be a duplicate of another submission, Abdulbaqi Jari, which is also waiting to be reviewed. To save time we will consider the other submission and not this one.
The comment the reviewer left was:
There is already a blank draft on this individual. Please wait for it to be deleted.

Do not make statements such as "Apparently, Jari is among the major youth activists in Northern Nigeria." Either provide reliable sources (as in the rest of the article) or delete the claim.

Reduce number of level 4 headings.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Abdulbaqi Jari (2) (April 7)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
This draft does not have a proper lede sentence. For that reason, it reads as much like a resume as like an encyclopedic draft. Maybe the second sentence should be revised slightly to be the lede.

Although this draft has very many references, many of them are either not reliable or are not independent, such as Facebook, Instagram, and his own web site. Wikipedia is not a reference; it is a wikilink or See Also. With the deletion of the unreliable references, it may be possible to assess notability.

This draft still has too many headings, although some of them are now Level 3.

The draft says: "Notably, Ihame is one of the most celebrated works of Abdulbaqi jari." What is Ihame?

This draft is very overlinked to ordinary words, but some words and phrases are not linked that should be linked.

Please ask for advice at the Teahouse about the general tone of this draft and making it more neutral and formal.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Abdulbaqi Jari (2) (April 9)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
This draft is still very badly overlinked to ordinary words that are well-known to any native speaker of English. This is very distracting to native speakers. It may be useful for readers who are learning English (including, probably, the author), but this encyclopedia is primarily for persons who are fluent in English, whether native or otherwise. It will never be accepted with this much overlinking.

Since the author apparently has limited English, I suggest requesting assistance at WP:WikiProject Nigeria from editors who are fluent in English and are familiar with the subject area in general. (The quality of the English is not good. This draft needs heavy copy-editing for grammar.)

The section on IHAME is very hard to understand, and needs work from someone who is fluent in both English and Hausa.

Portions of this draft are not in a neutral formal encyclopedic tone. Again, seek help from other editors.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Abdulbaqi Jari (April 11)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Onel5969 was:
This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage about the subject in reliable sources that are independent of the subject—see the guidelines on the notability of people and the golden rule. Please improve the submission's referencing (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners), so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.
The comment the reviewer left was:
WP:CITEKILL doesn't help show notability. It's the quality of the references, not the quantity. In addition, the article would be rejected on grounds of its promotional content.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hausa–Fulani, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hausa. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The comment the reviewer left was:
Please no resubmitting until you can only focus with the best available amount of in-depth third-party news sources overall and not trivial passing mentions. However, I will also say that it's simply likely too soon as none of the contents suggest actually solidly satisfying notability. I would wait until there's better information for a better article.
