Welcome to Wikipedia, Daeng Dino! I'm I dream of horses, and I've been assigned as your mentor. Around 10% of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor randomly taken from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here to get help from the wider community.

I am really sorry for my late response. Hi I dream of horses! Nice to meet you and thank you for welcoming me to Wikipedia. And also thank you very much for volunteering to become my mentor in Wikipedia. But as you can see, I haven't got chance to keep in touch with my account frequently because of my work schedule. So I apologize once more if I am giving you a late response for you message...
Thank you once again for your willingfullness to help and sorry for my bad English! Daeng Dino (talk) 04:13, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry. I just took a month long break from Wikipedia myself.
Your English is quite understandable. No need to apologize for it! I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 16:17, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see.
Glad to hear that and thank you very much! DD (talk) 01:22, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

[edit]
  • Thank you for creating the pages for Marosichthys and Musperia! The fish fauna of both those deposits needs attention and it's great that these are getting new articles! Keep it up! I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with the WP:Automated taxobox system, it makes it generally much easier to create taxoboxes on the articles for new taxa. Also, while it's not a hard rule, I would also recommend using the "Extinct animals of Indonesia" category for only recently-extinct animals within the Holocene or Late Pleistocene whose extinction can likely be attributed to humanity, while reserving "Fossils of Indonesia" for older extinct taxa. Thank you and hope to see more! Geekgecko (talk) 14:48, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Thank you for your appreciation.. Thank you very much also for correcting the format and especially the taxabox. I will try to get familiar with it..
Ah, okay. That's why I wondered yesterday why these two taxa get omitted from the "Extinct animals..." list. I am sorry if I put it into the the wrong category. Thank you once again for the direction and hope to see you plus working with you in the future! DD (talk) 14:57, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
