Please help me with... I have read the image use policy, but am having trouble determining if an image found on the internet is copyrighted or not, and if it can be used. Is there an easy way to do this? Cornerstone1949 (talk) 04:59, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- You should have read that almost all images "found" on the internet will not be usable because they do not have associated with them a release that would allow use on Wikipedia. We presume images are protected by a restrictive copyright in the absence of some such positive release information. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 05:32, 29 May 2025 (UTC)

Camilla
[edit]Her affair was at least as much of a big deal from a notoriety perspective as Andrew and his association with Epstein. It involved Diana, possibly the most famous woman of the last 50 years (certainly one of them), and Charles of course, and it's the reason she's now the Queen. It was massive, but it's not as relevant today as it would have been say 25 years ago as far as opening her encyclopedia article. Utahredrock (talk) 02:26, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- I just looked at her article and her affair is the third sentence in her lead. It's also the 2nd sentence of the 2nd paragraph. So the same place I am now proposing Epstein go into Andrew's lead (aka the third sentence overall). Utahredrock (talk) 02:37, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- That makes sense. Her current lead lining up with the new proposal for Andrew would potentially be a good thing to point out on the talk page too. I think those of us who didn't live through it underestimate how famous Diana was. That said, Camilla is pretty notable now for being the Queen of England, and if Andrew somehow gets a similar role later in life, we can always change the lead, as unlikely as that all is to happen. All in all, I don't think such a prominent mention of Epstein is inappropriate in the slightest. Cornerstone1949 (talk) 02:47, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
