[edit]Hey Manowar cite themselves as True Metal, but Heavy metal is also accepted, so I'm going to put True Metal in as a genre
Disambiguation link notification for September 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of University of Oxford people, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Swann. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Welcome from the GOCE
[edit]Hey Cardboard Moose - excellent job copy editing Cássia Eller! Just letting you know that, as part of the July 2025 drive, I've placed a checkmark () in front of it to show that it's been "checked" and is of satisfactory standard (well, excellent standard, in this case). Welcome to the Drive, and I hope you continue to participate in future events. My talk page and the project's talk pages are always open if you have any questions. Happy editing, GoldRomean (talk) 19:54, 6 July 2025 (UTC)

CS1 error on Charles Kraus (clown)
[edit] Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Charles Kraus (clown), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 12:27, 31 July 2025 (UTC)

Spoken Wikipedia descriptions on Commons
[edit]Hey Cardboard Moose! I posted something like this to the Spoken Wikipedia talk page, but no one has responded in two months, so I just want anyone's opinion on this. On the Spoken Wikipedia guidelines, it tells you to use link_to_recorded_version= at the bottom of the file description, but I feel like it could be made less cluttered by using oldid= instead. If you want to compare between our most recent file uploads, you can definitely see a difference at the top. Just wanted your opinion, should the guidelines be changed? Thanks! Disambiguation link notification for August 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
- Ebonyi State
- added a link pointing to Izzi
- Kazakh–Dzungar Wars
- added a link pointing to Bahadur

New page reviewer granted
[edit]
Hi Cardboard Moose, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 15:49, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Ryusei Terachi
[edit]Hi there, and thanks for your help with NPP! I wanted to let you know that I've declined your A7 speedy deletion nomination of Ryusei Terachi because there is a credible claim to significance, which is a lower bar than notability. If you do think Ryusei Terachi fails to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for athletes, feel free to nominate for deletion at AfD. Thank you!
