I am not sure why this page is still without a message.
Hello!

Request reason:
Caught by a colocation web host block but this IP is not a web host. My conduct under my account is not connected in any way with the block. My home IP address is in the same range which may have contributed to the unintentional block to editing on my account in en.Wikipedia.
For your information, I have been traveling, using my personal laptop, in the USA and countries in Europe from March - mid-September, and again 3 weeks in October 2023. I was surprised/shocked to find on my desktop, at home, being blocked from editing because I never had such problems in years of editing from different locations. However, my guess for being blocked from editing in en.wiki, is that perhaps my recent travels may have triggered the blocking.
I would like to respectfully request your attention to this matter so I can continue editing without problems. Thank you very much! Bineshgardi (talk) 20:34, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You are probably right that your travels resulted in Wikipedia "thinking' that your IP is still what it was when you were in another country. Clearing your browser cache may take care of that- but in order to look into this and tell you for certain, we need to know your IP address. It should appear in the message you see when you attempt to make an edit, or you can use a tool like whatismyip.com to determine it. If you do not want to post your IP address publicly, you may use WP:UTRS to provide it privately. 331dot (talk) 20:47, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@331dot: Thank you for your prompt attention and guidance. Bineshgardi (talk) 21:24, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
@331dot: Hello and Happy Holidays! I am facing a dilemma that makes me seek your advice. As is clear above, sadly my editing privilege is blocked in Wikipedia. I used WP:UTRS as you suggested. Now, I am going on a trip for a few months again with a new laptop. Is there any advice you can give me or point me to a direction that can help me avoid getting into further unforeseen problem please?! When I return, I will use the same desktop if it is unblocked, naturally. :) Looking forward to your response with much appreciation for your kind attention, Bineshgardi (talk) 23:06, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- You could contact a checkuser as described at WP:IPECPROXY and explain your situation. I cannot promise any particular result(I am not a checkuser) but that's what you can do. 331dot (talk) 00:03, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
@331dot: Thanks for the advice! Will do that. Bineshgardi (talk) 05:31, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
@Firefly: Hello! I hope you can help me resolve a dilemma I am facing. As you see above, I have been blocked from editing in English Wikipedia. Why? My only guess for that, is editing I did on my old laptop during my travels in different cities and countries from April to September 2023. I have filed a WP:UTRS requesting an unblock. I believe it was a misunderstanding. Now that I am going on another trip for a couple of months with a new laptop, I am wondering if I will get into new problems affecting editing? What to do to avoid any further problems? Please advise! Thanks! Looking forward to your reply, Bineshgardi (talk) 06:37, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- @NinjaRobotPirate: Hello! I would like to respectfully request your attention to 2 questions:
1.) I found your name on the CheckUser list. Since you blocked my account from editing in Wikipedia, I am wondering if you could help me understand the matter in question. I have filed a WP:UTRS providing my IP address requesting the unblock which seems only you can do. I have explained my guess about the misunderstanding that might have caused the “Block” above, and in the ticket to no avail. If the blocking is not related to my travels to different cities and countries from March to mid-September 2023, and 3 weeks in October; then, would you please clarify the reason for the blocking? Thanks. 2.) I am going on another trip with a new personal laptop for a few months. I am wondering if I might get into other unforeseen problem(s) with Wikipedia. What advice would you give me in order to avoid any further hassle, please? Thank you. Bineshgardi (talk) 02:15, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- It has nothing to do with travel. It was related to the services provided on this IP address, which included colocation, cloud computing, etc. If this is also used by a residential ISP, it's not a big deal. I'll unblock it. You should be able to edit now. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:27, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- I truly appreciate your understanding of my situation. Indeed, in months of travels this year I was using different residential Internet service providers in the homes I was staying in. Thank you for unblocking me so promptly after I reached out to you! Sincere regards, Bineshgardi (talk) 06:38, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

- Hello,
Thank you for providing the helpful links in your message. This was my first English article that I tried to expand. Unfortunately, you have deleted all headings and subheadings, plus many references that I thought were fine. I am sorry for my mistake. I would greatly appreciate your understanding and assistance in moving the content of the article to my sandbox, giving me a chance to correct the content according to the standards of Wikipedia. I appreciate your attention to my request.Bineshgardi (talk) 19:07, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Hands of the Cause.
[edit]Could you take a look at the article and let me know if there are things in the notes that still make sense to combine? Note, the ones the ones that are just name year and page are referring to entries down in the References. (Yes, the referencing is complicated in this article compared to most. Still trying to figure out Momen's book (or books).Naraht (talk) 18:53, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
- Will try. Thanks. Bineshgardi (talk) 17:28, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- In the Notes: Smith 2000 (pp. 24, 26, 175 - 177, 175, 25), and Rabbani 1992 (pp. 28, 321, 433) could probably merge. Were you referring to these in your post? Re: Momen's book, I'm not sure. Were you able to figure it out? Thanks. Bineshgardi (talk) 00:58, 28 August 2025 (UTC)
