User talk:Bedinek

Hello, Bedinek. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Cuisune of Vatican, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Cuisine references

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Cuisine articles, but original research doesn't cut it on Wikipedia. You need to provide references, preferably inline citations otherwise your content is at risk of deletion. Where exactly did you find the information on said articles? I find it on Czech Wikipedia.--Bedinek (talk) 10:40, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Plešice moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Plešice, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Deletion of Cuisine of Antarctica

[edit]

Hello,

you have deleted my article Cuisine of Antarctica using the G4 speedy deletion rule. The G4 rule could not be used in this case, since it applies only to identical copies of previously deleted articles and my version of the article was clearly different. Right before the deletion, I contested the speedy deletion in the talk page and it was contested there by one other user as well. I think the article should be recreated, mabye renamed to Food in Antarctica. Bedinek (talk) 09:08, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bedineck,
Some of the phrasing between the two versions is indeed largely identical. For example, the lines "Sledging biscuits are a durable, long-lasting biscuits [...] are favored on Antarctic expeditions due to their high energy content." and "Sledging biscuits, plain, durable, buttery biscuits with high energy content". Nonetheless, I can see that the articles themselves are quite different, and will restore, per your above request, to Food in Antarctica.
