Welcome to Wikipedia, Anbarasan1523! I'm LuniZunie, and I've been assigned as your mentor. All new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor chosen randomly from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. It is noted that you have removed content that was properly cited with third-party sources, including statements documented in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly records. In particular, the sections highlighting the achievements of the government, which were supported by verifiable references, have been repeatedly deleted.

Such repeated removals without prior discussion may be considered disruptive editing or vandalism. I am therefore restoring the previous version of the article that included these verified sources.

Please refrain from removing well-sourced content without consensus. If you have any concerns or objections, kindly raise them here on the talk page. FactCheckerBharath (talk) 12:26, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@FactCheckerBharath: I have replied to you on your talk page. I restored your content with the required clarification as official statement. I try my best to ensure NPOV without any political bias and asking you to do the same. Anbarasan1523 (talk) 12:28, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that wikipedia is not your personal blog, where you can write your own. Articles with sources should not be removed. FactCheckerBharath (talk) 12:36, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@FactCheckerBharath: Please note that sources based on political leaders are not unbiased sources. I'm requesting a third person to involve in this issue. Kindly cooperate. Anbarasan1523 (talk) 12:37, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, please understand my statement first, hope we are all educated. My statement is "all statics are - "statements documented in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly records and published in all leading newspapers". Hope you understand now. And please keep away from your vandalism of own interest. FactCheckerBharath (talk) 12:44, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I contributed my best to ensure NPOV and removed only the sources based on statements made by political leaders and summarized the paragraph to ensure ease of reading and reducing the length. Now I'm awaiting for the opinion from other users on this issue on the article's talk page. Thank you. Anbarasan1523 (talk) 12:46, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Anbarasan1523 I've asked twice that you please discuss this matter. I'm going to go ahead and make the change I've described above. If you revert without responding here, then I'm going to have to file a complaint against you at [[Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents|ANI]] for [[WP:Disruptive editing|disruptive editing]] by reverting without discussing. FactCheckerBharath (talk) 12:48, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@FactCheckerBharath: I stopped reverting your content already. Please don't remove the cleanup templates until the consensus made on talk page of the article. Anbarasan1523 (talk) 12:54, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The article is written as per Wikipedia:Manual of Style why you want to put templates? sake of your interest???? I'm undoing now. please do not edit further. I'm going to request Wikipedia admin to check all your edits which you have made in other page also. FactCheckerBharath (talk) 12:59, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

@CoffeeCrumbs. The user @Anbarasan1523 also doing huge vandalism in the article 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election. Please have a look. FactCheckerBharath (talk) 13:04, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Neither of you should be there. The first need is for both of you to stop editing there, then we can unwind what's going on more effectively. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 13:09, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Noted. I have stopped edit on the page. The user @Anbarasan1523 purposefully created this new username on 07-Nov-2025 to edit the page with some personal intention. Please check and advise. FactCheckerBharath (talk) 13:16, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You have not. After receiving the message above, you've continued to revert on the page. I've blocked you from that page for 48 hours.Sam Kuru (talk) 13:21, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm NotJamestack. An edit that you recently made to Talk:2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. NotJamestack (talk) 14:59, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@NotJamestack: Sorry and thanks for the clarification. Anbarasan1523 (talk) 15:07, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please remember the second requirement of WP:EDITREQUESTs: that they must be uncontroversial or must implement an already agreed upon consensus. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 16:06, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
