Hi there, I'm just letting you know that the above Good Article (promoted between 2006 and 2009) is very far away from the the current good article criteria (specifically criterion 2b); I was going to nominate it at WP:GAR before I noticed that you, the original nominator, are still semi-active. If you would like to work on it to try and retain the rating, or if you feel that you can't bring it to current standards, please ping me and let me know. Best wishes, ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 10:14, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

I just had the pleasure of reading a section of Italian Renaissance painting—so informative and it brought me back to the pleasurable year in school that I first everstudied that subject. Your contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated! best, jengod (talk) 14:32, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much! Happy New Year! Amandajm (talk) 14:21, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Season's Greetings
Wishing everybody a Happy Holiday Season, and all best wishes for the New Year! The Nativity scene on the Pulpit in the Pisa Baptistery by Nicola Pisano is my Wiki-Christmas card to all for this year. Johnbod (talk) 02:59, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Today, thank you and the dozens of editors who helped for Wells Cathedral, introduced: "Wells Cathedral has unique Gothic architecture and complex history. These are described and illustrated within the article, which has been edited and reviewed by dozens of editors."! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:19, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Happy whatever you celebrate today, - more who died, more to come, and they made the world richer. Greetings from Madrid where I took the pic of assorted Cucurbita in 2016. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:09, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your work on the Sistine Ceiling restoration!

[edit]

I read some of the talk page and you're fighting the good fight! For anyone you know interested in the Sistine Ceiling, there's a free 3D experience with lots of information I created (www.sistinevr.com). In the next few years I will be adding to it, mainly the last judgment and working with people to add languages. At that time I will do a pass on all the writing if it's something that you would be interested in contributing to or giving feedback on. Dr pangloss (talk) 14:08, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help towards making the content produced as diverse and broad as possible!♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:09, 15 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
