Good afternoon, Ajsmith141. I see you've put a lot of work into Concrete Blonde related articles. One I was surprised to see didn't exist though was Bloodletting (The Vampire Song), but not to worry as I made an article for it myself. I was wondering if you'd be interested in checking it and making improvements if necessary. If not, happy editing! CleoCat16 (talk) 18:44, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi CleoCat16, thanks for the heads up and good work on the article - it looks good to me! I'll have a look later in the week to see if there's anything I can find to add. Ajsmith141 (talk) 18:56, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for helping out on "Bloodletting (The Vampire Song)"

The Original Barnstar
Hello again, Ajsmith141. Thanks for helping out on "Bloodletting (The Vampire Song)", but that's only partially why I'm reaching out. I saw your article for Ruff Cutts, and one, was pleasantly surprised I'm not the only fan of both Concrete Blonde and Twisted Sister, and two, it encouraged me to make an article for "Under the Blade". I'm surprised how well it turned out, but feel free to check it out.

Also, about your edits on "Still in Hollywood" and "True", do we know the order of the singles from Concrete Blonde's self-titled debut? I went off Rate Your Music, which obviously isn't a reliable source, but there's little options when it comes to singles.

I won't be as active on Wikipedia in the next few days, but I may improve more Concrete Blonde and Twisted Sister articles. Regardless, thank you! CleoCat16 (talk) 02:25, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi CleoCat16, thanks for the barnstar and message - happy to help and I'm glad I was able to add a small amount to the article. Nice job on the "Under the Blade" article. It's a great song and deserves the coverage!
Unfortunately, it's never very straightforward finding release dates for US singles (at least, from my experience). 45cat is not a reliable source either, but can be a useful starting point. In the case of Concrete Blonde's self-titled debut, the catalogue numbers of the singles are useful for ordering them: "Still in Hollywood" (IRS-52982), "True" (IRS-53053) and "Dance Along the Edge" (IRS-53113). There's reviews in both Billboard and Cashbox for "True" on March 14, 1987 and "Dance Along the Edge" is not reviewed until May 30, 1987.
Keep up the good work! Ajsmith141 (talk) 15:53, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
