Service award
[edit]
I notice you've been here a year as of the 10th and have over 3,000 edits, so you are entitled to display this service award on your user page. Cheers! Skyerise (talk) 05:50, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
(Well, technically it requires 4,000 edits, but most editors have made edits to some article or other that has since been deleted, or have made edits on sister projects, which are allowed to be counted in ones total.) Skyerise (talk) 05:55, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! I really appreciate this. I promise, I will be more responsible to my contributions on Wikipedia. AimanAbir18plus (talk) 07:04, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
A cheeseburger for you!

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to God in Abrahamic religions, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Remember: Wikipedia is not censored. GenoV84 (talk) 19:38, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Belbury (talk) 07:57, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Sumanuil. I noticed that you recently removed content from Depictions of Muhammad without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Sumanuil. Can you please use edit summaries?

Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Edit summaries
[edit]Hello! I have reverted a recent change of yours, which placed the lead image of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at a separate section with a blank edit summary. Could you please explain the rationale of that edit? — EarthDude (Talk) 06:32, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- Similar to other such organizations' articles. Image placed in the article per context. AimanAbir18plus (talk) 12:47, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- As I see from your edit, you had placed it in the uniform section, supposedly to show the new uniform of the organization. But there is already an image there which serves that exact purpose, so I don't understand the need to take the lead image and replace a perfectly appropriate image with that one. I think the current lead image is a perfect representation of the organization and abides by MOS:LEADIMAGE. — EarthDude (Talk) 15:24, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- Lead img is supposed to have been in the infobox. AimanAbir18plus (talk) 11:29, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
- Not necessarily. Anyhow, the infobox already has the saffron flag and it can't contain two or more images. — EarthDude (Talk) 18:21, 3 November 2025 (UTC)

We strive for articles with an impartial tone that document and explain major points of view, giving due weight for their prominence. We avoid advocacy, and we characterize information and issues rather than debate them. In some areas, there may be just one well-recognized point of view; in others, we describe multiple points of view, presenting each accurately and in context rather than as "the truth" or "the best view". All articles must strive for verifiable accuracy with citations based on reliable sources, especially when the topic is controversial or is about a living person. Editors' personal experiences, interpretations, or opinions do not belong on Wikipedia. GenoV84 (talk) 20:25, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Tanbiruzzaman. I wanted to let you know that some of your recent contributions to Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh have been reverted or removed because they seem to be defamatory or libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. While this was not a recent contribution, I'm talking about this edit. 🪶-TΛNBIRUZZΛMΛN (💬) 11:47, 21 November 2025 (UTC)

India
[edit]
Hello, I'm Fowler&fowler. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to India have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. This is your second warning. Please don't do this again.
India is a Wikipedia featured article. That means it has undergone community examination of and consensus about itscontents. Please read WP:FAOWN, WP:BRD and WP:ONUS. You are required to open a discussion thread on Talk:India and garner a new consensus on the image. Such discussions can take time to conclude, sometimes weeks if not months. So be warned. However, if you directly edit the page again after being reverted twice I will request administrative help. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 17:18, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- PS I apologize sincerely for incorrectly transcribing your user name in the edit summary of my revert on India. The error was inadvertent. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 17:48, 16 November 2025 (UTC)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
