Template talk:WikiProject Judaism

Template:WikiProject Judaism is permanently protected from editing because it is a heavily used or highly visible template. Substantial changes should first be proposed and discussed here on this page. If the proposal is uncontroversial or has been discussed and is supported by consensus, editors may use {{edit template-protected}} to notify an administrator or template editor to make the requested edit. Usually, any contributor may edit the template's documentation to add usage notes or categories.

Any contributor may edit the template's sandbox. Functionality of the template can be checked using test cases.

Changes

Let's discuss them first. I'd make the same points as in {{WikiProject Israel}}: removal of Todo, pointless change of colors and the link to portal is gone. Also, misspellings don't look very well. ←Humus sapiens ^ну? 01:17, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

remove "to-do" please

{{editprotected}} Can an sysop please remove "Project Judaism To-Do:" from the template? It's confusing, especially after the article has received a rating. Looks like this was considered before, but nothing was ever done. Shirulashem (talk) 04:02, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now:Why not just switch the to-do list to the bottom? Also, in general it's easier for admins to make changes to templates if you make the change on a sandbox subpage, so we can just copy the text in. Thanks!--Aervanath lives in the Orphanage 05:02, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've copied it over. There are a couple of categories which will be changing, e.g. Category:WikiProject Judaism templates will become Category:Template-Class Judaism articles and it will take a couple of weeks for the pages to move over.
