The following suggestions listed in the talk page for several years and have not had any opposing opinions:

Restoration Movement denomination and font color
[edit]Hi! Is anyone else here interested in how the Restoration Movement may be implemented as its own category under "Religious Affiliation" with its own denominational background and font color? OrdinaryScarlett (talk) 10:13, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
Pushpin marker
[edit]This edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= parameter to no to reactivate your request. |
Hi, please add these two lines
|mark = {{#if: {{{pushpin_mark|}}} | {{{pushpin_mark}}} | Set01-church.svg }}
|marksize = {{#if: {{{pushpin_marksize|}}} | {{{pushpin_marksize}}} | 22 }}for "image2" and "Location map" template to show
for pushpin map. Sandboxed here and tested successfully for Westminster Abbey. Thanks, Hooman Mallahzadeh (talk) 15:57, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
Question: Is there a convention for using custom marks for locations in pushpin maps? I can't find anything about it beyond Wikipedia:Pushpin maps and c:Location markers, the latter of which only gives default color variants and triangles for mountains. - Hi, another example is Template:Infobox airport. In my opinion, using such icons is very helpful because it makes pushpin maps more illustrative. Even though I can't find any guideline, we can add some instructions to encourage using such pushpin-markers for pushpin-maps of all infoboxes. Hooman Mallahzadeh (talk) 15:58, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Chaotic Enby I really think that using such markers makes maps more illustrative, the same as Template:Infobox Airport, and we should gradually apply that for all infoboxes. Hooman Mallahzadeh (talk) 14:47, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks! While I'm absolutely not against it, it would probably require a broader level of consensus, as this would be a large-scale visual change. I'll drop a note at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Infoboxes. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 14:53, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
