This template gives information about the current version of iPadOS 17. This template is to be used only to refer to iPads that are stuck on iPadOS 17. For for fully supported devices, use Template:Current iPadOS.

Per Apple the following models can update to iPadOS 17:

iPhone XS and later, iPad Pro 13-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2nd generation and later, iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Pro 11-inch 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 6th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later

But, the following models can update to iPadOS 18:

iPhone XS and later, iPad Pro 13-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd generation and later, iPad Pro 11-inch 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 7th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later

Therefore, the only iPads using this version should be iPad Pro (2nd generation) and iPad (6th generation).
