Updating this template
[edit]When updating this page after a new release of iPadOS, please update all instances of the version (x3), date (x2) and reference (x2). (It is likely that {{Current iOS}} will need updating at the same time, as releases are usually synchronized.)
Refs should be to first-party Apple.com web pages (either support.apple.com/121162 or support.apple.com/100100).
When transitioning to a new major release (i.e., when a new release is announced at WWDC), if any models are stuck on the current release, create a new template for those models first (in this case, {{Current iPadOS 18}}), and apply that to all relevant articles before updating this template for the newer release.
