Edit Request for Lead Section

Hi editors,

I work with Torre.ai and would like to propose an update to the first paragraph of the article to make it more neutral, accurate, and up to date. The current first sentence describes Torre as “the first company to fully automate recruiting end-to-end”, which I understand could sound promotional and is no longer a good description of what Torre.ai does

Here is the proposed new lead paragraph: Torre.ai is a global recruitment technology company founded in 2019 by Colombian-American entrepreneur Alexander Torrenegra, who also serves as its CEO.[1] According to the company’s website, Torre operates a free global job network that uses artificial intelligence to automate recruitment processes from start to finish. The company states that its technology aims to predict whether a candidate is a good fit for a job, team, and leader, and describes its AI interface, Emma, as a virtual recruiter that assists employers and candidates throughout the hiring process.[2] Jprodmo (talk) 14:50, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Jprodmo:, The lead should be a summary of the body, but in this case that can be difficult due to it not meeting general WP:MOS. Honestly, the page could use the WP:TNT treatment as much of it reads like it was generated from a WP:LLM and reads promotional in tone. If you want to propose a draft of a new, less promotional page, ping me here and I will take a look. If no one gets around to doing the cleanup in a few months I will jump in and do it. For now, I will leave your edit request open in case another editor wants to honor it. Finally, please see WP:COIDISCLOSE and make the proper disclosure on your userpage. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:13, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
