Budget

[edit]

@C1K98V Find Box Office India here. Also, please note that WP:PINKVILLA is unreliable now. 2405:6E00:280B:CC12:9C95:8FFF:FE25:FA51 (talk) 09:26, 18 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Debutants

[edit]

Aneet Padda is not a debutant she has acted in Salaam Venky prior to this. So it should be *debutant* Ahaan Panday and not debutants Khogen2410 (talk) 17:24, 18 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

She also acted on Big Girls Don't Cry from what i know BengalMC (talk) 03:32, 19 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Box office

[edit]

Had a lot of extra information such as advance booking, beating the collection of other films etc so removed them. 103.51.148.212 (talk) 09:50, 19 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Box office

[edit]

Removed box office from short description. Lifetime collection should be added once it nears the end of its theatrical run. Khogen2410 (talk) 08:47, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mohit Suri's Saiyaara is neither a copy of a Korean film nor a remake of any film. Hence this line should be removed. Dilipyrf (talk) 05:01, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your username literally contains the name of the production company.YashTheBosss (talk) 05:06, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What's needed to support this statement is a reviewer making the claim, not saying that fans on the internet think there are similar aspects. A good source, not based on what fans think, would be helpful to support adding this back. Ravensfire (talk) 05:11, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have reinstated it, citing a source from film critic and journalist Kaveree Bamzai. Akshaypatill (talk) 07:12, 17 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
maybe that person is an editor paid by YRF or an Executive at the company that knows things better. BengalMC (talk) 08:10, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If that is the case, is that acceptable? YashTheBosss (talk) 08:16, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In most cases it falls under WP:COI when a corporate backed paid editor tries to deny the claims which a huge chunk of audience believes in. But in the case of Saiyaara, many elements of the film is loosely based from the Korean film but not like fully based or a Frame to frame remake. So this could be an unlikely acceptable. Now the clercs and the Mods could have different opinion on this BengalMC (talk) 08:44, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
We would like to clarify that Saiyaara is an original Indian film and is not based on any Korean movie. While there may be online speculation regarding its inspiration, there has been no official statement or confirmation from Yash Raj Films (YRF) regarding the film being a remake or adaptation of any Korean work.
