Don Hutson Mis-Identification
[edit]It is a common misconception that the original statue was of Don Hutson, or often misspelled Don Hudson. The original statue had a jersey with the number '88' and the name 'Packer'. Don Hutson's jersey was number '14'. The original plaque states it was dedicated to the "great past, present and future enshrinees in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame". Don Hutson's name is not mentioned on the plaque. Rauglothgor (talk) 22:07, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

- GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
- It is reasonably well written.

b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
- I do not think that two sentences warrants a seperate "Legacy" section, I believe that this section should be merged with "History"
- Having this section creates the TOC and provides a nice finality to the article. I don't see any policy issues with the section. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 22:51, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

- @Gonzo fan2007:, I do not see the part where it says that Curly Lambeau designed and constructed the statue, I have checked both the archived and live versions of the source.
He was not only a pioneer of the forward pass in pro football, but also one of the game's most prolific passers in those early years.
this is what the sources says, which supports the statement in the article about Lambeau developing the passing game. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 22:51, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

- ... that in 2013, the Receiver statue was repainted to match the likeness of Donald Driver after he retired from the Green Bay Packers?

Article is a newly promoted GA, quite well-written. Hook is sourced properly and is interesting. All good. Arconning (talk) 14:14, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
