Resolved citation and promotional tone issues

[edit]

I have removed the

and

templates from the article. The article has been thoroughly revised for a neutral, encyclopedic tone and now includes numerous citations from reliable, independent sources such as OU Health, the NIH, and major news outlets. Promotional language has been removed, and all major claims are now verifiable. Please feel free to review and provide feedback. vb (talk) 19:13, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding promotional content:
The tone remains highly promotional. Use of such phrases as "OU Health integrates patient care, medical education, and research to improve health outcomes statewide," "The integration brought together [specialties], enabling OU Health to deliver research-driven, patient-centered care while training the next generation of healthcare professionals," and "nationally recognized leader in pediatric care" are all subjective and non-encyclopedic.
Regarding citations needed:
OU Health is not an independent source, it is WP:PRIMARY. Additionally, other citations you added, such as "Stephenson Cancer Center Earns NCI Designation" do not link to information that verifies the claims that you have made.
I have undid your template removal, but recognize that the original article was also deeply flawed and thus have not reverted your edits. Vegantics (talk) 21:11, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
