Talk:November 2015 Paris attacks

Antisemitism not mentioned at all in the article?

[edit]

Given that the article mentions explicitly that the reasoning provided for the attacks was to do with the fact that the owners were Jewish, and this isn't just a joke but people actually died because of this antisemitism, why does the article not even MENTION antisemitism? 82.16.148.165 (talk) 16:38, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Because Wikipedia doesn't believe antisemitism exists. At least not among muslims. ~2025-32210-94 (talk) 02:17, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mutilations and torture at Bataclan

[edit]

Why are the mutilations not mentioned? Because the media refused to report on them? We know they took place. People were tortured. Why leave that out? ~2025-32210-94 (talk) 02:16, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@~2025-32210-94 please provide reliable sources to support these claims and they can be added. Katzrockso (talk) 02:17, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The use of “Islamic terrorism” throughout the article should be reconsidered

[edit]

The language gives an impression as if Islam condones such acts to the reader. ~2025-33264-28 (talk) 02:10, 13 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Clarity regarding perpetrators required

[edit]

In the section "Bataclan theatre massacre", three terrorists are said to have carried out the attack, and only three are ever mentioned, and their names given.

Starting the section "perpetrators", it begins with:

"Three groups, comprising three men each, executed the attacks. They wore explosive vests and belts with identical detonators. Seven perpetrators died at the scenes of their attacks."

This discrepancy is never explained. It is jarring and makes no sense. Why were only three terrorists listed in the previous section? It literally says "The terrorists were three French natives of Algerian descent: Foued Mohamed-Aggad, age 23; Ismaël Omar Mostefaï, age 29; and Samy Amimour, age 28." At no point in this entire section, are any other terrorists (I guess six (6) more?) are described, or even referenced as entering the theatre, shooting, or anything else.
