Completed Jews

[edit]

Wikipedia has a redirect from 'Completed Jews' to this article, yet the article itself makes no mention of 'Completed Jews'. This omission is confusing. A Web search on the term results in very many references. It appears that the majority are from Jewish sources. Wikipedia should at least describe the term, especially as the redirect recognises it 86.152.190.45 (talk) 02:37, 2 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Completed Jew" is a term sometimes used by Messianic Jews to describe themselves. I don't think there is a need to specifically elaborate on it. Eastcote (talk) 22:56, 5 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see so many articles which say all Messianic believers understand this term "completed Jew". Vladislav1968 Ukraine (talk) 20:30, 8 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Messianic Judaism

[edit]

I read text of this article:

"Messianic Judaism is a syncretic Abrahamic religious sect that combines Christian theology with select elements of Judaism."

What Christian theology? There are many Christian theologies: Othodox, Catholic, Protestant. In these teachings are many teachings too. That's why I think these words aren't correct.

Messianic Judaism use some elements of their theology but not all one. Vladislav1968 Ukraine (talk) 20:41, 8 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is better to write so:

Messianic Judaism is a syncretic Abrahamic religious sect that combines Judaism with select elements of Protestant theology." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vladislav1968 Ukraine (talkcontribs) 20:52, 8 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Messianic Judaism: more

[edit]

I read:

... Messianics tend to identify themselves with the terms maaminim (מאמינים‎, lit. 'believers') and yehudim (יְהוּדִים‬‎‎, lit. 'Jews') in opposition to being identified as notzrim (נוצרים, lit. 'Christians').

These words aren't correct. Messianic Jews name themselves Messianic Jews, Messianic Gentiles name themselves Messianic Gentiles. Jew is Jew, Gentle is Gentle. Vladislav1968 Ukraine (talk) 21:00, 8 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It is a very famous Messianic ministry too, please add it to chapter Messianic organizations: https://www.tikkunglobal.org/ Vladislav1968 Ukraine (talk) 10:45, 10 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Demography

[edit]

I found more new figures about Messianic Jews, according to USA State report for 2017. Although these data aren't new but they are more new than data in the article.

Please add or change them:

There is also a community of approximately 20,000 Messianic Jews, as reported by the Messianic Jewish community. https://www.state.gov/reports/2017-report-on-international-religious-freedom/israel-golan-heights-west-bank-and-gaza/ Vladislav1968 Ukraine (talk) 12:13, 10 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
