Talk:Logan Paul

Logan Paul ancestry

[edit]

The article claims Mr. Paul reports having "Jewish ancestry." As a Jewish person, myself: to be clear, Judaism is a religion, not a race. There is no Jewish race. Anyone can be Jewish. There are, in fact, Black African, Asian, Indian, Latino (or Hispanic, if you prefer) and Caucasian Jews. All Jews look like whatever race into which they were born, just as is the case with Muslims, Hindus, Catholics, Protestants..., et al. Please correct this inaccuracy. It is decidedly offensive to state someone "looks Jewish." One can no more look Jewish than look Presbyterian or look ambidextrous or look like a shoe salesperson (unless s/he is working in a shoe store). Understood? 2601:2C5:C181:9980:A58D:3A77:2193:BFE3 (talk) 15:57, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yikes, ok so there is a lot wrong with this, lets first dissect your very sad attempt of looking big, "Understood?", just stop, just stop, how sad of you.
Also "Since Judaism is not only a religious community but an ethnic group" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_genealogy. How very sad. I do love it when people are confidently wrong though! 2A02:C7E:5F0A:5100:596A:93B9:1AA1:806B (talk) 20:53, 30 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Logan Paul has never had a professional boxing match, that was his brother jake. All of Logan's fighters have been amateur/exhibition fights. Please correct. 100.43.121.191 (talk) 20:10, 10 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Edit requests are to propose edits in a "change X to Y" format. It's not clear what text you want changed; the text in this article and standalone articles about his professional bouts are well sourced. 331dot (talk) 20:32, 10 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Logan Paul is RAW not Smackdown

[edit]

Please see his WWE profile https://www.wwe.com/superstars/logan-paul

Can people start looking at the roster pages on WWE's website as they keep it up to date. On wikipedia, you've got Logan on Smackdown and Roman on RAW, both are false. Please start doing proper research and use the official WWE website as proof! It's not that hard! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.97.236.62 (talk) 20:16, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

He said he "grew up christian" but "grew out of the faith" in the podcast with Cliff Knechtle. This is from 2024. Influencer Logan Paul Hears the Gospel on His Podcast

He's also criticized Christianity and went as far as to mock Christians. [https://www.tiktok.com/@fueleddreamsclub/video/7179443337726938411 158.121.180.36 (talk) 16:49, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

His TikTok musings are not a reliable source. The only reference to his Christianity in the article seems to be "In a 2020 episode of Impaulsive, Paul described himself as a Christian who was "not overly religious", that sentence is cited. Mocking other Christians would not be inconsistent with this statement. 331dot (talk) 16:48, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
in that clip referenced it doesnt seem he makes any quote like that. He more or less deems himself as agnostic around 3:20 158.121.180.38 (talk) 19:44, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The fact remains fhat social media videos are not a reliable source, while we have one for current statements in the article. 331dot (talk) 19:48, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
but the source im disputing and using as evidence for Logan Paul being agnostic is the YouTube video used as a source for his statement that wasn't in the video. In the video that is referenced/sourced he legit considers himself agnostic not whatever quote used in the article 158.121.180.36 (talk) 16:27, 15 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Typically social media isn't used as a source. See WP:YOUTUBE, WP:TWITTER, WP:INSTAGRAM for example. Lemonademan22 (talk) 16:43, 15 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
