The result of the move request was: moved to July 2025 Conference on the Implementation of the Two-state Solution (non-admin closure) Staberinde (talk) 19:39, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
2025 New York Peace Conference on Gaza → July 2025 Conference on the Implementation of the Two-state Solution – Another 2025 conference on Gaza taking placing in New York has been announced in September 2025. I suggest this new title based on the short title used by the UN (here, here, also France, China). I'm including the month "July" to differentiate from the upcoming September conference, and suggest omitting "High-Level" (sometimes used) since it isn't essential to the title. - Support per nom rationale. The Kip (contribs) 22:15, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- Move to New York Declaration, rewrite the first sentence to be "The New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution is ...", and move the stuff about the conference to a background section. The Declaration itself is what is notable and what is causing this conference to receive press coverage. Counterfactually, if the conference had not issued the Declaration, it probably would not have received any significant coverage. I'll also make an educated guess that secondary sources will eventually treat the Declaration as notable rather than the conference itself. voorts (talk/contributions) 23:01, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- There are two documents from the conference though, the New York Declaration and the New York Call. Nice4What (talk · contribs) – (Thanks ♥) 02:04, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- The "New York call" (not capitalized in any press I've seen) has been described as a statement in most publications I've seen. It's a glorified press release. voorts (talk/contributions) 02:21, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Yet it still exists, is covered by reliable sources, and states followed up with their announced recognitions... It's worth noting that "New York Call" is capitalized in the official statement (see France and Canada) and by press sources too (example, NPR) Nice4What (talk · contribs) – (Thanks ♥) 02:32, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

Agree: It was not a peace conference and not just about Gaza. The New York Declaration had more supporters than the New York Call, but neither seemed to be an official outcome of the conference. “Two-State” should be capitalized in two places. Kaihsu (talk) 20:16, 4 August 2025 (UTC)

12 September UN vote on New York declaration
[edit]I do not know enough yet about this, but I wonder if this UN GA resolution is relevant to this article. It mentions the New York Declaration as well. I assume this is the same declaration from the present article
