Hi and thanks for your feedback, coverage on north Cumbria is very scarce for non-heraldic families as they often will have biographies and books on the family of which normal families just did not which explains the lack of secondary sources but the fact is that the land owned is the notable part, the fact that his life is known in far more detail than most if not all of the time period.
