multiple acts of vandalism should have this page locked.

[edit]

There has been multiple separate individuals who have denied the genocide for political reasons, this been obstructive to this page and (to a lesser extent) Wikipedia as a whole. I am requesting that this article be semi locked. 92.237.155.25 (talk) 20:56, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove an errant </ref> tag after an {{sfn}} in the middle of the paragraph that begins: General Morgan (later to be known as the Butcher of Hargeisa)... 76.14.122.5 (talk) 23:42, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Genocide end date

[edit]

Some of these sources say the killings were done in 1990, and the article itself says this:

The genocide continued in Berbera as late into the conflict as August 1990, when a group of 20 civilians were executed by the military in reprisal for an SNM ambush that happened in Dubar, near Berbera, the incident demonstrated that "the genocide continued in Berbera longer than other cities."

Doesn't this mean it occurred from 1987-1990, rather than 87-89? JPHC2003 (talk) 08:16, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
