Cite the sources from the corresponding article on the German Wikipedia

[edit]

Should we cite the sources that are cited over at the corresponding article on the German Wikipedia? [1] 1isall (talk/contribs) 19:43, 11 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If we cite the sources that the corresponding German Wikipedia article cites, it would easily solve the problem of this article citing a single source. 1isall (talk/contribs) 14:13, 12 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Citing foreign language sources is ok (see WP:FOREIGNSOURCES) but adding them would require more than just a direct translation of the German wikipedia article. English-language sources are generally preferred anyway. But if the article would be improved by them, I don't see why not to include those sources in the appropriate areas. rtrb (talk) 20:50, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

When an article on BFDI is created, can this article be renamed to BfDI (government agency)? BradyBoyer2 (talk) 21:03, 11 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:06, 11 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
