– These are descriptive titles for things that don't have independent names, not proper names. Name this way by analogy with the naming convention for seasons. This pattern can be extended further to other episode articles but it particularly important here as it avoids producing the undesired situation in which we are left with disambiguated titles with no parent if WP:Articles for deletion/Episode disambiguation pages is closed as delete. * Pppery * it has begun... 18:24, 27 June 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. - Oppose - The first Twin Peaks episode is the Pilot (Twin Peaks). And Episode 1 (Twin Peaks) is actually Twin Peaks episode 2. Christian75 (talk) 10:37, 4 July 2025 (UTC)
- Can we agree to at least move the non-Twin Peaks nominations and defer the Twin Peaks ones to a separate discussion, then. * Pppery * it has begun... 15:35, 4 July 2025 (UTC)
- Neutral about all non-Twin Peaks Christian75 (talk) 08:30, 5 July 2025 (UTC)

- Neutral on Twin Peaks moves; support all others. The Twin Peaks episodes have alternate titles used in some places that may be more appropriate for the article destination. Sesquilinear (talk) 22:06, 4 July 2025 (UTC)
- OPPOSE Twin Peaks moves; neutral (weak oppose?) all others. The Twin Peaks episodes not only have alternate titles, but also "Episode 1" (etc) ARE the actual titles, AND Episode 1 is the SECOND episode (etc). For the others, I'd need further evidence that "Episode 1" etc aren't just the actual titles. Paintspot Infez (talk) 03:08, 5 July 2025 (UTC)

- Oppose Twin Peaks episodes, as there seem to be unique circumstances there (at this point, I think it'd be better to move them to the non-numerical titles they were retrospectively assigned; most sites list them that way nowadays and it would avoid the off-by-one matter). Neutral for the others; I prefer the consistency with other episode formats, but there are examples of untitled works breaking naming conventions elsewhere. I also want to add that Episode 210 was recently moved to 30 Rock episode 210 in a similar vein; I oppose this move, as (a) "210" is production jargon that could mislead someone into thinking it's the 210th episode, and (b) "Episode 210" is the commonly used name to fit in with the other, normally titled episodes. RunningTiger123 (talk) 21:30, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- I have moved the above article to a sensical location. It is not the two hundred and tenth episode, as you stated. The alternate is something similar to Episode 1 (Humans series 1). -- Alex_21 TALK 23:23, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- Support all (and trust the person carrying out the actions to sort out the Twin Peaks issue!) It makes no sense whatsoever to have articles names "Episode NN (disambiguator)" when there are literally thousands of TV shows that do not name their episodes. "Show Name (episode NN)" is by far the most logical way of doing things. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 21:42, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- "Show Name (episode NN)" is completely illogical and has no support under WP:NCTV. -- Alex_21 TALK 23:07, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose but only until the idea of
[n]ame this way by analogy with the naming convention for seasons
is taken to discussion at the relevant community and a consensus gained to implement it. If this is done so, and WP:NCTV supports naming episodes the same way as seasons, then I'd agree. Until then, these suggested moves do not conform with any part of NCTV; they currently follow every other Wikipedia episode article in the format "Episode title/number (Show name)". -- Alex_21 TALK 23:22, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- WP:NCTV is completely silent on what to do with episodes that don't have standalone names. This isn't contrary to anything, it's breaking new ground were no standard currently exists. * Pppery * it has begun... 23:43, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- Precisely. Hence my suggestion above. -- Alex_21 TALK 23:48, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

- Oppose I think the Twin Peaks articles need a separate discussion, particularly to take into consideration using the alternate titles for WP:NATURAL disambiguation. For the other moves mentioned here, it isn't clear to me whether these episodes are actually untitled or if they have been named "Episode 1", "Episode 2", etc. If the latter is true, I believe they are already titled appropriately. If there is proof that they are actually untitled then I would support moves to Tá no Ar season 1 episode 1, Tá no Ar season 1 episode 7, Tá no Ar season 2 episode 1, Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu episode 1, and Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu episode 13. - adamstom97 (talk) 11:48, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose unless the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (television)#Titling episode articles without titles comes to a consensus supporting this move. --Srleffler (talk) 17:14, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
