Duran Duran connection?

[edit]

There doesn't seem to be any sort of source or citation other than an indirect link to a blogspot with only ONE post. Is there something a bit more credible than that? It seems silly to have something as big as Dante's design being attributed to such a source, no matter how lengthy the one single blogpost is.

Just my opinion, of course, but I don't want to just delete a citation and entry in the page if it's true, or has a more substantial source, or proof that the person who runs the blog has some connection that makes his "durandurandevilmaycry" blog credible. FA Status concerns

[edit]

This 2007 FAC has some serious issues that make it unlikely to still live up to modern standards. Just doing a quick once-over I immediately spotted several problems:

  • The lead does not summarize the entire article, most notably the legacy section
  • The entire gameplay section relies on one source, with the last paragraph not being cited at all
  • A very short reception section that only covers extremely basic praises and critiques

Given these glaring problems I would not be surprised if there were more issues that I did not notice. Comparing this article to modern FA video game articles, the difference is vast. ZKevinTheCat (talk) 03:37, 15 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@ZKevinTheCat: Were your concerns resolved with the above? If not, would you like to bring this to WP:FAR? Z1720 (talk) 03:59, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I nominated the article for FAR a few days ago. I did a little work on it, but there is still a lot to be done. ZKevinTheCat (talk) 06:18, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
