Hello, I am an employee of Dan Abrams. His Wikipedia page is dated, so we are trying to update the information, namely the introductory paragraphs and his picture. We do not want to insert any biases but simply want to add the information with their corresponding citations. Here is our updated info with citations:

Daniel Abrams (born May 20, 1966)^[1] is an American media entrepreneur,^[2] television host,^[3] and NY Times bestselling author.^[4][5][6] He sold Law&Crime in October 2023 to video content startup Jellysmack in a deal reportedly worth $125 million.^[7] He is also the owner of the media and politics site, Mediaite, and other digital properties such as the fine spirits and events company Bottle Raiders^[8] and is the proprietor of EV&Em Vineyards, named after his children Everett and Emilia, in New York's North Fork.^[9][10]

On television, Abrams is the host of the prime-time show Dan Abrams Live on NewsNation,^[11] On Patrol: Live on Reelz,^[12] and creator and host of Court Cam, a Law&Crime production on A&E.^[13] He is also the Chief Legal Analyst for ABC News^[14] and host of a daily radio show, The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets The Law^[15][16] on SiriusXM's P.O.T.U.S. channel.

He has written numerous books: Man Down: Proof Beyond a Reasonable Doubt That Women Are Better Cops, Drivers, Gamblers, Spies, World Leaders, Beer Tasters, Hedge Fund Managers and Just About Everything Else, which was a Washington Post Bestseller;^[17] Lincoln's Last Trial: The Murder Case That Propelled Him to the Presidency; Theodore Roosevelt for the Defense: The Courtroom Battle to Save His Legacy; John Adams Under Fire: The Founding Father's Fight for Justice in the Boston Massacre Murder Trial, all of which spent multiple weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list.^[18][19] Most recently, he released Kennedy's Avenger: Assassination, Conspiracy, and the Forgotten Trial of Jack Ruby and Alabama v. King: Martin Luther King Jr. and the Criminal Trial That Launched the Civil Rights Movement.

Abrams was the host of Live PD on the A&E cable network and was formerly an anchor of Nightline. He also worked as the chief legal correspondent and analyst for NBC News and general manager of MSNBC, and doubled as an anchor for the same network.^[20][21][22] He began his professional career in 1994 as a reporter for Court TV, covering, among others, the O.J. Simpson murder trial.^[23]

 Not Done. That looks like far too much info to be placing in the intro section, and the list of books is clearly highly promotional (contrary to your comment above). As a general guideline, the intro should be an overview, the details should be in the body of the article.

If you are looking to massively expand the intro with material that is already within the article then the answer is, no you can't do that. If you are looking to massively expand the intro with material that isn't already within the article, the answer is no the material belongs in the body of the article.

If you wish to make specific sourced changes then I suggest you make a further request, specifying clearly what the additions are, rather than providing a large section of re-written text and expecting volunteers to work that out for themselves. However, most of new the material ought to be going in the body of the article.

The present article was also tagged as being of a promotional nature in Sept 24, which is an issue that you may wish to contribute to resolving, rather than trying to make the situation worse than it is at present.

Also, I note that you were warned on your talk page about making promotional edit to the Dan Abrams article back in 2021, but continued to do so for 3 years until we reach the present situation where you are largest single contributor to the article and then two weeks ago you declare a conflict of interest. Our goal here is not to make the page more self-promotional, but rather just the opposite: to make it shorter and more accurate. We completely agree that the current structure doesn't work. We are happy to help make the page much more succinct because someone else, not us, included much of the detail about his career that is now either outdated or irrelevant. So, we are all in agreement that the page needs work, we just need some advice on how to make it better comply with the standards. Our idea for editing is to remove the surplus of section headers (that have already been flagged as too many by Wikipedia) and add details about Abrams' current projects and entrepreneurial work, which is not on the page as it stands. Hello, I work for Dan Abrams. I see that there are two tags on his page regarding promotional content and too many section headers. I have edited in the past without disclosing my connection to Abrams and without following the proper guidelines, but I have since read through the guidelines and consulted with someone who has experience with this matter. I have disclosed my conflict of interest on my user page, understand the COI process, and plan to act in accordance with these policies.

In order to address the issues mentioned in the tags, I have redrafted the Career section of the page to appear in paragraph form rather than multiple subsections. I have also attempted to edit the text to remove promotional content. Please consider replacing the existing information if you feel that I successfully addressed the concerns, and if not, I'd appreciate further feedback.

It is more effective to follow Wikipedia:Edit requests closely, keeping suggested changes short with clear explanations. For situations like this where you'd like to see large changes, work in small portions.

Thanks Hipal, I appreciate your feedback. I'm not sure how to break this edit request into smaller portions, since I am trying to remove the subheadings which run throughout the entire article. I went back over the original request highlighting my suggested additions and crossing out my suggested deletions so you can see exactly what I am proposing. Please note that although a few paragraphs are crossed out, I didn't remove the information, rather I reorganized it so it would appear chronologically. I focused on the content and not the sourcing which already exists on the page, but I have taken note of the sourcing guidelines and I will keep them in mind for future requests. I have now replaced many of them with sources that are independent and more suited to Wikipedia standards. Please take a look and let me know if this is sufficient for removing the tag. Should we discuss them? #4 has the same link as #3, which is of similar quality. The Variety and Hollywood Reporter pieces aren't much better. I've tried to follow your advice, adding additional, more reputable sources in the specific places you mentioned, without deleting those that were already on the page. If you feel like there are now too many sources, feel free to delete those that you deem unnecessary. Hello, I would like to update the article with the following information: In the Early life section, please add:

Abrams is a graduate of Duke University.^[1]

And in the second paragraph of the Television and Broadcasting subsection, where it says, "After 5 years, he accepted a managerial position at MSNBC", please change the sentence to read: "After 5 years he became the General Manager of MSNBC". The current source that's on the page can still be used.
