More sources needed
[edit]I found three solid sources on Cyrus Cornelius Adams that I used for this page, but more would be nice. Unfortunately, he lived long enough ago that he is hard to find stuff that made it online. GeogSage (⚔Chat?⚔) 06:18, 16 October 2025 (UTC)

- Comment: The proposed image only works for the first proposed hook, and if it's not appropriate I understand. Failing this, there is a photo of Adams.

New enough, long enough, well-sourced and neutral. Both hooks work, though I would be in favour of cutting "in Inglefield Gulf" in the first hook, it doesn't tell the average reader very much (and the fact that he was someone who got a mountain named after him is enough to pique my interest, at least). Probably also change "2nd" to "second", it looks neater. Both hooks are also supported by inline citations. The image is from 1892 and as far as I am able to determine correctly tagged for the right kind of license. No QPQ since this is one of the first DYK nominations by GeogSage – though I at least hope not the last. It's a neat and nice article that should be good to go. Nice work! Comment: Thanks for the feedback! Changed the first hook based on feedback. Removed "in Inglefield Gulf" and changed 2nd to "second."GeogSage (⚔Chat?⚔) 03:05, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
