Merge to Coli Toro Formation (or vice-versa)
[edit]The formation and the member appear to be the same thing. It seems that it is merely a issue of redefining or reclassifying the formation as a member. If there is somehow a small difference between the two, it can easily be described, instead of having two near-duplicate stubs. -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 13:12, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
- Support, this seems to be a case of the formation being variably classified as a member of a different formation or of its own formation. Unfortunately, even up to the present year I can find studies that refer to this as either a locality of Los Alamitos or its own formation, so I'm unsure of the solution. - I'm seeing a few publications that refer to it as "formation" fairly recently. The process of moving 'member' back to 'formation' was done as a copy-paste though so it's going to need some work. -- Reconrabbit 13:48, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
