Planned changes to headings and structure
[edit]I plan to change the headings and structure of this article to be in line with the template that has been proposed here for all articles of the nature "Climate change in Country X": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Climate_change/Style_guide (see also discussion on that page's talk page). Anyone has any objections? @User:PlanetCare, @User:Chipmunkdavis. EMsmile (talk) 02:16, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- Good example of a potential background section for the structure as you mentioned on the Climate change in Australia talkpage. CMD (talk) 03:18, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- In this particular case, what they put there in "background" is information about the climatic zones in Nigeria. I guess that's good to have (with a link to Climate in Nigeria if it exists; or a link to here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geography_of_Nigeria#Climate_types_found_in_Nigeria). We could call the section "Background" and then a sub-heading called "Climate"? We should not double up with existing climate information on that country elsewhere. EMsmile (talk) 03:29, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- I've made those planned changes now. Searched for some good images to illustrate the article but didn't really find much. Please help? EMsmile (talk) 00:45, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

Proposed merge of Environmental change in Nigeria into Climate change in Nigeria
[edit]most of the information can be fitted to [Climate change in Nigeria]], some of which already exits FuzzyMagma (talk) 18:49, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
- Currently there isn't really anything to merge, a redirect would be fine. However, it's a new article, has there been any discussion on whether expansion is planned? CMD (talk) 01:11, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- I moved to the draft space and made the article a redirect to this on FuzzyMagma (talk) 11:52, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

AI generated tag
[edit]Hi -- I've tagged the sections originating in the content by Lilianneche as likely AI generated. To make a very long story short, this was an edit-a-thon from 2023 that had a lot of LLM and copyvio issues, some but not all of which were addressed at the time.
