Talk:Article 312 of the Turkish Penal Code

Outdated from the start

[edit]

If you wrote this article in 2013 and speak about a supposed situation prior to 2002 (more than a decade before) in 'present tense' and only by the end of the article you mention that the situation changed by 2002 (more than a decade before you wrote it) then it could well be suspected that the article was not drafted in good faith, as it was not reflecting a current situation at the time of entry, although written in present tense. Not a good practice for Wikipedia. Regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.239.17.89 (talk) 22:32, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracy

[edit]

The Wikipedia article seems to be mixed with Turkish Penal Code Article 216 which is about racial, religious hatred etc.

While Article 312 is:

Anyone who attempts to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Türkiye or to prevent it from performing its duties, partially or completely, by using force and violence, shall be sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment.
