Moved by editor Kbrose as more of a response to a technical request. Thanks and kudos to editors for your input; everyone stay healthy! P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 19:26, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
Area code 709 and 879 → Area codes 709 and 879 – Plural area codes, to match other Canada and American area code articles. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 17:31, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- Support, uncontroversial. 162 etc. (talk) 18:57, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- Support, should have been a technical. Dicklyon (talk) 15:01, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- Support, per 162 etc. and Dicklyon, this one should just be closed and moved to the proposed name. Since all three commentators agree, I think it's okay to withdraw the RM and move the page (Dicklyon, is that correct? I should know the procedure but have seldom suggested just closing an RM). Eastmain, thanks for finding this spelling mistake. Randy Kryn (talk) 02:38, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not authorized to say what's correct, but yes, I think that would fly. Or just wait for a normal close. Dicklyon (talk) 02:53, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks. Yes, but it would contain the spelling error until then, which was my thinking in suggesting closing it. Randy Kryn (talk) 03:22, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

- Update, someone boldly moved it to correct a spelling error, nothing to see here. Randy Kryn (talk) 03:24, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
- But now the bot is confused and the RM appears to be still open, so that's not ideal. Dicklyon (talk) 05:22, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
