[edit]Someone swapped USA for Sweden, which would make sense, but is there any confirmation yet on this? I mean Denmark could be the team that moves or it could be someone else other than USA.18abruce (talk) 19:43, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
- The hockey news, and hokej.cz, both from today (5/28), confirm that the group alignments are still only speculative.18abruce (talk) 20:54, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
Referees announced a year in advance?
[edit]The article says "16 referees and linesmen were announced on 9 May 2024". Were they really announced a full year in advance? Or is this a typo and were they actually announced in May 2025?Sxg169 (talk) 17:23, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
(given that the reference was accessed on 7 May 2025 and that previous iterations of this same tournament announced their referees/linesmen days before the tournament, I updated the date to 7 May 2025). Sxg169 (talk) 17:28, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- Was just a typo. Kante4 (talk) 18:28, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
Slovakia & Latvia
[edit]With each 1 game left. Why can't Slovakia finish ahead of Latvia? GoodDay (talk) 21:17, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
- They can. But it won't matter since Austria plays Latvia, they both defeated Slovakia, and one of them has to finish with at least 10 points.18abruce (talk) 22:01, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
2nd Miracle on Ice?
[edit]This should be referred to as the United States' "2nd Miracle on Ice"? 212.100.101.104 (talk) 11:44, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
- No, it should not without multiple reliable sources. Flibirigit (talk) 11:46, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
- One of the favorites winning is no miracle. If a source deems it so that would be very surprising.18abruce (talk) 15:38, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
