Draft:Yang Cao

  • Comment: Still a lack of in-depth coverage specifically about this person. The CV-like stuff has gone, which is good, but others have already asked you to please add more content that supports notability, so please do so. GraziePrego (talk) 07:48, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Reads like a CV, has a promotional tone, and sources are not independent of the subject. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 02:11, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: To future reviewers: This is an autobiography. Please review accordingly. Toadspike [Talk] 15:55, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO, WP:CREATIVE) but presently it is not clear that it does.
As other reviewers have noted, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see the articles ‘Your First Article’, ‘Referencing for Beginners’ and ‘Easier Referencing for Beginners’.
The image used likely breaches copyright, which Wikipedia takes seriously, so should be removed unless clear evidence of its legal use is provided. If it is indeed the draft's author's "Own work" then the author clearly knows the subject and has a conflict of interest that must be declared (see details below).
Please note that many of the references would appear to be from sources that are NOT considered reliable for establishing notability and should be removed (including blogs, company websites, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify etc). Note that notability is established by articles about the subject, not by the subject.
Additionally, the draft tends to read too much like a promotional CV, which Wikipedia is not; and contains prose that is not of a standard appropriate for an encyclopaedia (also see WP:PEACOCK).
Also, if you have any connection to the subject (and you clearly do given the matter of the image discussed above), including being the subject (see WP:AUTOBIO) or being paid, you have a conflict of interest that you must declare on your Talk page (to see instructions on how to do this please click the link).
Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements, then please make the necessary amendments before resubmitting the page. It would help our volunteer reviewers by identifying, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject.
It would also be helpful if you could please identify with specificity, exactly which criteria you believe the page meets (eg "I think the page now meets WP:ANYBIO criteria #3, because XXXXX"). Cabrils (talk) 05:27, 5 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Editor is not attempting to satisfy notability criteria or respond to issues raised including multiple dubious sources. Note that this article was previously declined multiple times under the name Draft:Yang Pachankis, and the renaming of the article is highly inappropriate. Unless the editor makes a serious attempt to remedy these issues I suggest rejecting and perhaps salt. Ldm1954 (talk) 13:24, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

Yang Cao is a nuclear-science-informed human rights activist from mainland China. He actively exposed the nuclear proliferation and nuclear chemical pollutions mixed up with the electromagnetic warfare in Beijing, besides his advocacy for LGBTQIA+ rights from within the bureaucratic system with censorship by bottom-up influence.[4][5][6] Apart from working in contemporary arts and the cinematic industry, Yang is also a polymath in multi- and trans-disciplinary independent researcher in high energy physics, economics, amongst others.[7][8]

The Arts and Intercultural Exchange

[edit]
Nuclear proliferation evidence gathered by Yang in his artwork "Soiled Tattered Tissue", exhibited in The Travelling Artworks curated by Inez Piso and Stephanie Noach in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in September 2010.

One of the most important thematic issues in Yang's artwork is the expression and articulation on the nuclear proliferation realities in the Chinese Communist Regime since the year 2010.[9]

As an intercultural communicator, he assisted many Chinese artists and curators in dialogues with the European counterparts, which includes Xing Xin's early exhibitions in the Venice Biennale, and the translation of Michael Bird's brief art history book 100 Ideas that Changed Art into Simplified Chinese (OCLC 1336579011).[10]

Academic Research

[edit]

Chaired by Roger Penrose and Stuart Hameroff, Yang presented his white hole observation findings and insights in the 2022 The Science of Consciousness conference.[13] In the 31st European Congress of Psychiatry (EPA), Yang presented his theory on the extremal nucleon heuristics to psychiatry with EPA 2023's theme in Soccial Cohesion, a Common Goal for Psychiatry.[14][15]
