Usha Sen (née Dasgupta; 1901–1954)[1] was a Bengali writer in British India. Her father, Rajeshwar Dasgupta (1878–1926), was a renowned agriculturist and Deputy Director in Indian Agriculture Service. Before the independence of India, her residence was in Bikrampur, now Dhaka, Bangladesh.[2] She was married to Kartik Chandra Sen.Usha Sen contributed to the editing of the BharatKosh (Vol.II) of the Bangiya Sahitya Parishad. Although established as a writer, she was also skilled in painting. Many of her oil paintings and watercolors have been exhibited at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata.[1]
