The Next Salahuddin
[edit]The Next Salahuddin is a 2025 Pakistani first AI feature film produced using artificial intelligence–assisted filmmaking techniques. The film was written and directed by Farhan Siddiqui and produced by Ustadh Asim Ismail. It is presented by Jinn TV. The film was produced in Karachi, Pakistan, and released theatrically on 19 December 2025.[1] [2]
The film draws thematic inspiration from the historical legacy of Salahuddin Ayyubi and places it within a contemporary fictional narrative focused on humanitarian conflict.[3]
Synopsis
[edit]The Next Salahuddin follows the fictional character Yousuf, a young resident of a conflict zone, as he navigates the challenges of war, displacement, and loss. The story uses symbolic visual storytelling rather than direct historical depiction to explore themes of resilience and moral leadership.[4] [5] [6]
