Comment: GBIF says that the accepted name is Limulus decheni. Palaeodb says "It was recombined as Tachypleus decheni by Lamsdell and McKenzie (2015), Lamsdell (2020), Bicknell et al. (2021)." Don't move to article space until we can establish the accepted name. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 03:15, 20 August 2025 (UTC) In gbif the genus name is limulus since it originally was but it says it's in tachypleus.Houcaris (talk)

Tachypleus decheni is an extinct species of horseshoe crab in the genus Tachypleus that lived in the Borna Formation[1] of Germany during the Upper Eocene.[citation needed] It is one of two fossil species within the genus Tachypleus.[2] [3] [4]
