Submission declined on 24 June 2025 by Cactusisme (talk). This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject. Declined by Cactusisme 2 months ago. | ![]() |
Submission declined on 20 June 2025 by Theroadislong (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by Theroadislong 2 months ago. | ![]() |

SEED Madagascar (Sustainable Environment, Education & Development in Madagascar) is a United Kingdom-registered charity and international non-governmental organisation (NGO) that operates exclusively in the Anosy region of southeast Madagascar. Established in 2000 under the name Azafady UK[3][4], the organisation was later renamed SEED Madagascar and is registered as charity number 1079121[5] in the UK.[2][6][7][8][9]
The organisation implements programmes related to environmental conservation, sustainable livelihoods, public health, and education.[10][11] SEED Madagascar works in partnership with local communities, government institutions, and non-governmental actors to address social and environmental challenges.[12][13][14][15][16] Its work is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
History and Structure
[edit]SEED Madagascar was founded in 2000 and has now entered into the sixth term of an accord de siège with the Government of Madagascar, which allows it to establish its own legal and fiscal presence in the country.[17] Throughout this time, SEED has delivered and resourced numerous conservation and livelihood projects both directly and indirectly through local partners.[18][19][20][21][22]
Financials
[edit]SEED Madagascar is audited annually by an independent chartered accountant. 92% of received donations go directly to support SEED Madagascar's charitable aims.[23][24]
