Quess Corp Limited is an Indian multinational business services company headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Founded on 19 September 2007 by Ajit Isaac, it provides outsourcing services including workforce management, business process outsourcing (BPO), facility management, and technology solutions. Listed on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE: QUESS) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 539978), Quess employs over 557,000 people across India, Southeast Asia, North America, and the Middle East as of 2024, making it one of India’s largest private-sector employers.[1]
History
[edit]Quess Corp was established in 2007 by Ajit Isaac in Bengaluru, initially focusing on staffing solutions.[2] The company went public in July 2016 with an initial public offering (IPO) that was oversubscribed 147 times, raising ₹400 crore,[3] and in February 2024, Quess announced a demerger into three separate listed entities—Quess Corp (workforce management), Digitide Solutions (BPO and HR outsourcing), and Bluspring Enterprises (facility management and industrial services)—approved by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on 4 March 2025, putting its shares in focus.[4][5]
Business Operations
[edit]Quess Corp operates mainly in technology, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing.[6] Across these industries it does staffing, payroll, facility management, security, IT services, digital transformation, and consulting[7][8][9][10]
For the fiscal year ending 31 March 2024, Quess reported revenue of ₹19,100 crore and a Q4 profit of ₹97 crore, up 243.09% year-over-year.[11]
Acquisitions
[edit]Quess has grown through acquisitions:
- In January 2018, it acquired Monster’s business in India and other regions for USD 14 million, rebranded as foundit in 2022.[12][13]
- In February 2025, it aquired a US-based healthcare wearables firm.[14]
