Submission declined on 1 September 2025 by RangersRus (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Nicola Rose is an American director and writer from New York City.
Goodbye, Petrushka, Rose's debut feature film as a director and writer, premiered at the 2022 Dances With Films festival in Los Angeles.[1] Her second feature film Magnetosphere screened in 2024 at ReelAbilities, Dances With Films, and the Hamilton Film Festival in Hamilton, Ontario. The film stars Colin Mochrie, Tara Strong, Steven He and Patrick McKenna, and was shot in Ontario, Canada.[2], and released in 2025[3]. The film was released in 2025, distributed by Freestyle Digital Media[3], and received a screening at San Diego Comic Con on the occasion of its release.[4]. Since Magnetosphere's release, Rose has been lauded for her approach to depicting neurodiversity and synesthesia onscreen.[5][6][7]
