Gilad Bechar and Lior Eldan founded Moburst in Tel Aviv in 2013.[1] The company received approximately $2.4 million in early funding to support expansion into the United States and Europe.[2] Between 2019 and 2025, Moburst acquired five companies: Clutch Studio (2019), a video production and UI/UX design studio[3] Layer (2022), a web and mobile development agency[4] Uproar PR (2024), rebranded as Uproar by Moburst[5] Kitcaster (2025), a podcast PR agency[6] Rhythm Communications (2025), a U.S. PR and communications agency[7]

The company offers mobile and digital marketing services including app store optimization, user acquisition, search engine optimization, paid advertising, influencer marketing, video production, and web and mobile app development.[8][9] In 2023, the company integrated artificial intelligence and machine learning into campaigns.[10] In 2025, the company appointed a Vice President of AI.[11]

Recognition

Moburst received the Most Effective Performance Marketing Campaign award at the 2019 Effective Mobile Marketing Awards for the SAY app.[12] In 2021, a collaboration with Shopkick won Most Effective Video Campaign at the Effective Digital Marketing Awards.[13] The company won 18 Telly Awards in 2022, including Gold and Silver in several categories.[14] A campaign for Redefine Meat received Gold and Bronze awards at the 2022 MMA Smarties Awards.[15] Moburst was named Digital Marketing Agency of the Year at the 2023 MMA Smarties X Global & North America Awards.[16] Adweek included Moburst in its Fastest-Growing Agencies lists for 2022, 2023, and 2024.[17][18][19] In 2024, Moburst was featured on the television program World's Greatest! on Bloomberg TV.[20]

According to business directories Clutch and Business of Apps, clients have included Google, Uber, Samsung, Reddit, Discovery, Calm, Pfizer, Dropbox, McAfee, and Playtika.[21][22] Campaigns that received industry recognition include Samsung Galaxy Apps (2018), which won Bronze at the MMA Smarties Awards,[23] the SAY App Launch (2019),[24] the Shopkick TikTok Campaign (2021),[25] the Redefine Meat International Launch (2022),[26] and Abide (2022).[27] In 2023, a PlugSports campaign won Most Effective Influencer Marketing Campaign at the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards.[28] In 2024, campaigns recognized by the MUSE Creative Awards included the NewDay USA Careers Site,[29][30] a Truecaller influencer campaign,[31] and the SYNLawn website UX redesign.[32]
