Matthew Glubb is a New Zealand architect.[1] and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jasmax, an architecture and design firm based in New Zealand and Australia.

He has over 25 years of experience in architecture, urban design and infrastructure projects in New Zealand and internationally.

Jasmax Tenure

Glubb joined Jasmax in 2002 and held several leadership roles, including Head of Design.[2] In this role, he contributed to shaping the firm's design philosophy and strategic direction. He was appointed CEO[3] in September 2023.

In 2025, Glubb oversaw Jasmax's expansion into Melbourne, Australia, through a partnership with local practice Canvas Projects[4]

In 2019, Glubb received the Ignite Urban Design Award at the Auckland Property People Awards.[13] He was also involved in Jasmax's 2019 rebrand,[14] which introduced a new design direction and a Manifesto focused on the integration of culture, nature, and design.

Jasmax's rebrand was recognised at the 2020 Best Awards, receiving multiple accolades including:

  • Gold in Large Brand Identity[15]
  • Silver in Long Form for the Manifesto film[16]
  • Bronze in Toitanga for the Te Hau-Ora[17]
  • Bronze in Design Communication[18]
  • Bronze in Large Scale Websites[19]
