Draft:Marco Guarino
| Submission declined on 26 October 2025 by LuniZunie (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Marco Guarino (born 1973.[1]in Chieri) is an Italian watchmaker, designer and inventor.
Marco Guarino started learning[2] about watchmaking at the watchmaking school in Turin (the oldest in Italy). Building on this, he began to teach himself about astronomical complications and to design and build watches accordingly[3]. He cites Ludwig Oechslin and Vincent Calabrese as his role models in this regard.
Marco Guarino has developed several unique astronomical complications, which never appeared in a wristwatch, such as the lunar equation[4]
Since 2024 he reached the candidate status at the AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants)[5]
Guarino is married with three children.
