Krishna C. Alejandrino [1] is the current Executive Director of Junior Achievement (JA) Philippines[2]. He has held this position for the past 16 years and continues to lead the organization's operations, including training and development, business planning, financial management, and marketing. Under his leadership, JA Philippines has strengthened its partnerships with top corporations and industry organizations, both locally and internationally, to inspire young people to value entrepreneurship. JA Philippines is part of JA Worldwide, which ranks among the top seven non-government organizations globally.

[edit]Krishna Alejandrino was born on September 6, 1976 in Manila, Philippines. He earned a Master’s degree in Marketing with an emphasis on Market Research from the University of Santo Tomas in 2003, graduating cum laude. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). [3]

[edit]Alejandrino has worked in the fields of education, marketing, and research. He has served as Executive Director of JA Philippines since 2009, overseeing training programs, partnerships, and organizational development. [2] He is also a Director at the International Institute of Marketing Standards, a division of the International Institute of Marketing Professionals (IIMP), and a Council Member for Research and Innovation at the JA Worldwide Research Institute. [edit]As the Executive Director of JA Philippines, Alejandrino has been instrumental in expanding the organization’s outreach and impact on youth entrepreneurship, work-readiness, and financial literacy programs. [edit]From 2006 to 2008, Alejandrino was named Marketing Adviser of the Year by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA), the Financial Executives of the Philippines (FINEX), and the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA). In 2009, he received the Most Outstanding Faculty Member (Coaching Award) from Southville International School and Colleges. He holds the title of Associate Fellow Business Educator (AFBE), awarded by the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) and the Philippine Academy of Professionals in Business Education.
In 2013, Alejandrino was given the Youth Development Award by the Chartered Association of Business Administrators. In 2018, he received the Service Excellence Award from the International Christian Academy (Association of Christian International Schools), the Excellence Award from Saint Joseph College, and the Presidential Recognition Award from the PCDEB. The same year, the United States Embassy in Manila, under Ambassador Harry Thomas, presented him with a Recognition and Appreciation Award for contributions to corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects conducted in partnership with the U.S. government.
In 2024, he was featured for his role in promoting inclusive financial literacy during FWD Philippines’ Community Care Month.[4] In April 2025, he was selected to participate in the Leader Exchange and Development (LEAD) Program 2025, a global leadership development initiative by JA Worldwide, representing the Asia-Pacific region.[5] The program facilitates strategic exchange among leaders from six regional JA centers, fostering innovation and best practices.
