Justine Lynne Murray is an Australian entrepreneur and founder involved in projects across international domestic recruitment, real estate, and sustainable development in Vanuatu. Her work includes community programs, property development initiatives, and education-focused ventures that promote family and early childhood support.
Justine Murray’s projects extend to the islands of Aore Island and Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu, where she has helped establish small-scale cocoa, vanilla, and pepper farming initiatives through Phoenix Plantation. These programs promote sustainable local employment and export opportunities in the agricultural sector.[1][2]
Career
[edit]Murray worked in executive recruitment and private staffing for ultra-high-net-worth families across Australia, Monaco, the Middle East, and Europe. Her experience in personal household management and luxury service industries influenced her later work in domestic recruitment and family support.
She has also worked as a freelance underwater photographer and travelled with documentary teams from National Geographic, capturing marine environments and island communities.
Following the death of her son, Murray relocated to Vanuatu seeking a quieter, community-focused lifestyle. She founded Phoenix Plantation in his memory, focusing on sustainable vanilla, cocoa, and pepper production. The plantation employs local workers and promotes ethical agricultural growth on Aore Island and Espiritu Santo.
She also founded Aore Real Estate, specialising in sustainable property development and relocation support for those moving to Vanuatu.
Murray continues to engage in public awareness projects highlighting ethical investment, sustainable living, and education in the Pacific region.
Media
[edit]Murray has also been interviewed by national media on topics related to childcare recruitment and industry standards in Australia.[3] Her work has been featured in tourism and business media focused on Vanuatu’s developing economy and lifestyle migration.
Murray appeared in many TVC and TV shows and on House Hunters International during its early Australian productions and later featured in the 2024 episode "Island Princess," which followed her relocation to Vanuatu and the establishment of Phoenix Plantation.[4]
