Justin Ryan Twohig (born 1988), known as Justin Ryan is a American Irish-Italian restaurateur, musician and technologist.

Before embarking on a career in technology, Ryan was a lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and keyboardist in post-hardcore rock bands, including Tree and the Machine.[1][2] In 2008, the band collaborated with music producer Cameron Mizell to record their music.[3]

After graduating from the University of South Florida, Ryan founded Nerdbet.net, a fantasy eSports company.[4] Later rebranded as Proxy, the platform introduced a fresh approach to gambling on popular competitive computer games like Starcraft and League of Legends.[5][6] After his initial entrepreneurship, he began his corporate technology career at Oracle. He later joined Snowflake, a technology startup, during its pre-IPO stage. Snowflake would go on to achieve one of the most successful software IPOs in history.[7]

In 2023, Ryan launched Venhue, an unconventional fine dining restaurant in Manhattan's East Village, despite having no prior experience in the restaurant industry.[8][9][10] The establishment quickly gained attention for its playful irreverence toward traditional accolades, such as the Michelin Guide.[11][12] The concept was considered one of the "biggest food and beverage trends of 2025" by The Today Show.[13] Venhue leveraged artificial intelligence for text-to-video, wine pairings and the overall experience.[14]
