Jacob Hoff (Born October 5, 1993) is an American social media personality and actor. He is known for creating viral, humorous list videos which have gained him millions of TikTok followers and for his Mixed-Orientation marriage to Samantha Wynn Greenstone. Hoff identifies as a gay man who is married to a woman.[1]

Early life
[edit]Jacob Hoff was born on October 5, 1993 in Olympia, Washington.[2] He was born into a conservative family.[3] Hoff studied acting and filmmaking at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California.[2]
Career
[edit]After leaving college Hoff appeared in multiple theatrical productions in Southern California including The Little Mermaid (musical) and Fiddler on the Roof.[4][5]
Hoff began posting TikTok videos of lists that garnered millions of views.[6] His lists are noted for being "hilarious" and for him mispronouncing cities and countries around the world.[7]
In 2023 Hoff and Samantha Wynn Greenstone shared their mixed-orientation relationship on TikTok.[8] Their relationship quickly went viral and they continue to share their love story in the media.[8]
In August 2004, Hoff visited Guatemala and met with President Bernardo Arévalo and Minister Of Tourism Harris Whitbeck to discuss the power of social media journalism and his effect on it.[9]
Personal life
[edit]On November 25, 2024 Hoff married Greenstone in Boca Raton, Florida.[1] The couple met at a callback for the musical Fiddler on the Roof when Hoff heard Greenstone "cackle" through the walls of the theatre.[1] They were best friends for 18 months before becoming a couple.[10] The couple were engaged in December 2023.[1]
Hoff and Greenstone have a mixed-orientation relationship; Hoff identifies as gay and Greenstone is straight.[11] The couple maintain a monogamous relationship and share their story as Jacob feels it is important and liberating to express his gay identity despite being married to a woman.[11]
In 2024 Hoff converted to Judaism.[11]
In September 2025, Hoff and Greenstone announced they have a baby on the way.[12]
